The playing surface is arguably the best in the area, regularly providing a feast of runs for the delight of many spectators who are able to take advantage of the seating which extends all around the boundary. The club is proud of its brand-new pavilion incorporating excellent changing facilities for players and officials. The tea room is renowned for its standard of refreshment and the score box, with electronic score board, has a view it is difficult to surpass. The club caters for cricketers and cricket lovers of all ages.
Sewerby has been awarded Focus Club status by the YCB and three years ago achieved the nationally-recognised Clubmark Accreditation. The Club is one of the first in Yorkshire to gain re- Accreditation. In addition, the Club has achieved level 2 of the East Riding Club Accreditation Scheme.
In addition there are many social and fund raising activities throughout the year. The biggest of these being the Annual Sewerby Gala held on the last Sunday in July. Many thousands of people visit this event and are well entertained.
